Stella & Chewy’s Freeze Dried Dinner offers 100% complete and balanced nutrition. Each product is made with raw, naturally raised meat, poultry or fish, sourced from USDA-inspected facilities, without added hormones or antibiotics. Healthful, direct-fed microorganisms (probiotics), natural tocopherols, chelated trace minerals, taurine and essential vitamins and minerals have also been added to enhance Stella & Chewy’s natural raw dinners.
Freeze-drying is a process that removes the moisture from Stella & Chewy’s products without cooking, thereby retaining all of the nutritional value of raw meat, minus the water. Feeding Guidelines: Serve as is or rehydrate by adding warm water. If your dog does not drink plenty of water at mealtime, we recommend rehydrating. To rehydrate, crumble and add 1/4 cup of water for every two patties. When feeding dry, always make sure your dog drinks ample fresh water at mealtime. Optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, breed, and activity level. Please refer to the feeding chart below as an initial recommendation and adjust food amount as needed to reach desired weight goal.
Transitioning your pet to Stella & Chewy’s Dinners:
A slow changeover is recommended so that your pet’s digestive system can adjust to the new diet. Begin with a mixture of 25% of Stella & Chewy’s and 75% of the old diet. After feeding your pet that combination for 1-3 days, switch to a 50/50% diet. Again, wait another 2-3 days and then switch to a mixture of 75% Stella & Chewy’s and 25% old diet. After another 2-3 days, you can switch to 100% Stella & Chewy’s. Your pet might experience some digestive issues during this transition period. This is completely normal and will pass.
