Dr. Maggie Skin Care Ointment is a topical formula that supports natural healing ability. Apply to wounds, scratches, insect bites and minor cuts for soothing effect. A bitter taste discourages licking.

Instructions:

Cleanse affected area thoroughly; apply every 3-4 hours, or as needed. If condition worsens or does not respond, consult your veterinarian.
Skin Care Ointment is virtually colourless, however, it can leave a grease mark if rubbed on clothing or upholstery. This is not usually a problem when is applied on the skin, under the fur. Try to avoid getting the product on top of the fur. Also, the product should be applied sparingly. Very little is needed to achieve excellent results.

Ingredients	ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Plantain extract (infused with Grapeseed Oil), Neem oil, Allantoin INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Petrolatum, Lanolin Plantain Extract has long been used to soothe and calm irritated skin. Not only does it moisturize, but it also has cleansing properties. It has great antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Grapeseed Oil is extremely rich in Vitamins D, C, and E, making it excellent for reducing the risk of scarring. It speeds up the healing process and reduces swelling. Neem Oil has been traditionally used to relieve dry, itchy skin and treat infections because of its antiseptic properties. This oil has also been known to repel insects. Allantoin was traditionally used to treat eczema. It helps to heal and it stimulates the growth of healthy tissue. Petrolatum creates a protective barrier from water and air, allowing the skin to heal itself. Lanolin is a natural oil found in sheep’s wool that soothes rashes and abrasions. It is an excellent moisturizer and creates a barrier under the skin to prevent moisture from escaping.
